Smart, Strong & Full of Sparkle. . .The Bella Blossoms (ages 5-7) and Bella Bravo (ages 8-12) represent Bella Ballerina's most advanced dancers!  These teams are comprised of students who show advanced skills and have dedicated themselves to additional class time each week to learn advanced choreography and technique.  The Bella Ballerina performace teams represent the studio at community performances and can also be seen in additional special numbers at the annual holiday and spring recitals!  Performance Team members also have the opportunity over the Summer months for special classes in other dance styles.

How Can You Become a Team Member?If you're interested in becoming a part of either the Bella Blossoms or Bella Bravo teams, you must either be invited or audition.  The Burke and Kingstowne team auditions are held each Spring/Summer and are age appropriate and never intimidating to dancers!  If you're interested in auditioning for the upcoming year, please click the button below!  Before you do, here is an at a glance list for what being a team member entails...

• Attend one 1 hour class per week (Blossoms) or one 90 minute class per week (Bravo) at a designated day and time with minimal absences.
• An expectation that students have a desire to learn more advanced dance skills while still having fun!
• Attend up to 3 community performances each year
• Perform an additional dance routine at each recital
• Parents volunteer backstage at our recitals as well as at community events where the team is present
• Purchase of additional team gear package including a team jacket, specialty dance shoes and other accessories. 
• 12 month commitment
• No Drama Zone

Placement onto one of our Bella Blossoms or Bella Bravo Performance teams is based on several criteria! We look for dancers who LOVE to dance and would come to class every day if it were up to them! Our hand selected team is made up of dancers who: show an advanced level of dance ability, dancers who pick up choreography quickly,  have excellent behavior during class,  have a positive attitude (this one is for parents as well), dancers who love recitals and performing on stage. In addition, there must be open spots available on the team.  Each year there is an extremely limited number of spots that become available on the Performance Team. If there is a limited number of spots available, priority for team auditions/placement is given to students who have danced with us the longest. We highly recommend that dancers have completed at least one session of Bella Ballerinas and have not skipped a Summer Session prior to requesting to audition.
